Observation is the essential skill of science. So, the 3rd grade students spent some time practicing using their senses to gather information. They listened for their partner sound, they created a 5 senses creature, they identified mystery smells, and they touched mystery objects. The word of the day was observation! Now these students are ready to apply these skills in the garden. Look for photos of their soil investigations!
