I was fortunate to be able to stay home to raise my three children (Trey-8, Cole-7, and Aliyah-4) for the last several years. Before this, I taught 1st grade at ‘Ele’ele School for three years, and one year at Waimea Canyon. Now that my “baby” has started Preschool, I am returning to my trained profession—teaching Elementary Education. Though I am new to Kalaheo School as a full-time teacher, I am quite familiar with the campus as “just another parent,” and last year, as a regular Substitute Teacher. Being in the same learning community as my children is very important to me, just one of the reasons I am thrilled to become a part of the Staff this year.
In my free time I enjoy reading novels, watching movies with my husband Matt, playing board games with my kids, camping with family and friends, traveling, and participating in church activities.
