Kalaheo School students work hard to create quality work. This page highlights some examples.

5th grader Natalie Kerr created this book jacket for a book she read in Mrs. Herbig's class. Not only did Natalie produce high quality art work, the book summary on the back cover was very well written. Good job!
1st grader Kaden Keep went the extra mile when he did this work to demonstrate all the different ways to show 10. Kaden is a math wizz and a producer of quality work.
Emma Ells, Anuhea Breen and Chloe Olson learned about ecosystems in 5th grade science. Each student designed a book to demonstrate what they learned, but these girls went the extra mile to produce exceptional quality work. The books describe how organisms compete and survive, how ecosystems change and how people affect the ecosystem. The books are wonderful!
Kindergartener Keanu Dotario and 1st grader Cassidy Yamauchi each won 1st place for their grade level in the Aloha Care "How Do You Show Aloha" poster contest. Each student won $100 for their message of Aloha and their quality art work. Keanu plans on purchasing "tons of LEGO's" with his prize money. Cassidy will be saving some of her money! Doing quality work really paid off for these students! Way to go!
Kalaheo School 3rd, 4th and 5th grade GT writing students participated in the International Peace Poem Project.
