Where Learning and Good Citizenship are our most important products.
The Lego City Club is made up of 4th and 5th grade students who wanted to learn about planning and designing a community. Local experts from the County Solid Waste Division, Kauai Bus, County Planning Department, Kauai Police Department, KUIC, Aqua Engineers and Mobius Designworks presented several different perspectives with respect to planning to the lego city students. These students took all the information and ideas presented and applied the concepts to the planning, designing and building of their own lego city. Check out the pictures below and keep checking to see the plans progress.
Mr. Pascual from KIUC talks with the students about how energy is generated and distributed on Kauai.
Mr. Clendennin and Mr. Sullivan discuss general community planning, the implementation of zoning and residential and commercial building design.
