KAWIKA MATSUMOTO is the Assistant to the Head Custodian & KES all-around helper. He has been at Kalaheo School since 1998. He graduated from Kauai High School in 1997. He and his mom, Suzanne Kashiwaeda, live in Kalaheo and have wonderful neighbors, friends and family. His sister and brother in law Malie & Ryan Smith live in Honolulu and will return home to Kauai in 2010.
Outside of work Kawika loves talking with friends, family and neighbors, riding his bike, going to UH football games and watching NBA & NFL games.
He has 2 turtles, Michelango & Rafael, and a spoiled boxer, Keola, who is not a good watch dog.
Some of his favorite things are the LA Lakers, Denver Broncos, UH Warriors & Wahine, wasabi poke, his cell phone, computer and the colors orange and blue.
