Aloha! My name is Claire Hirota, and am currently one of the kindergarten teachers at Kalaheo Elementary School. I graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in May 2009 and earned a license in both general elementary education (K-6) and an early childhood education with emphasizes in the pre-K to third grade levels. I was born and raised on this beautiful island of Kauai and graduated from Kauai High School. When I'm not at school or fulfilling school responsibilities, you will find me relaxing at the beach, traveling or spending time with my friends and family. I thank the Kalaheo School ohana and community for welcoming me to such a great and supportive environment.
