Flying High Air Show
Kalaheo 2nd graders have been desiging and redisigning paper airplanes in an effort to design a plane that will fly farther than any other plane in their class. These students are learning to measure by participating in the annual 2nd grade flying high air show. The students make predictions, design planes, estimate distance and practice measuring while they have fun learning! In fact, the parents even got into the action when they volunteered to help measure too. Check out the photos below to get an idea of how it went.
