Third Grade
Kalaheo Elementary School
This year Kalaheo School third graders are learning more than ever.  They have created their own classroom communities!  Each student has a job that contributes to the overall well being of the community. There is a classroom council, police officers, newspaper reporters, historians, instructors and store keepers.  The students will rotate from job to job as they experience what it takes to keep a community going.  These students will also continue with the mini-farm project.  This year, they will add chickens to the experience.

Check back to see what the students are up too.  You will even be able to read each classroom newspaper!
It is essential for human beings to work together!

Kalaheo School third graders are putting this GLO into practice.  They are learning that working together is an important skill as they contribute to their own classroom community.  Check out the videos of their team building activities!
