Sunshine Express
Sunshine Express is the Kalaheo School choral group. The 2008 Sunshine Express is made up of students in grades 3, 4 and 5. They spend the Christmas Season performing in various parades and venues. Mr. Griffith, Kalaheo School music teacher, leads this group of talented singers.
Sunshine Express Performances: Each year, the sunshine express sings it's way through the Kauai Christmas Parade at Kukui Grove Shopping Center and the Lights On Rice Parade from Vidinha Stadium to the County Building. This year's parade theme was "Rock'n Holiday". The train was decked out in rock 'n roll gear and the kids were sporting microphones. The Sunshine Express also takes their show on the road as they visit care homes, hotels and the KCC Performing Arts Center. Don't worry if you missed them this year, they will have a brand new show beginning December 2009!
