Mrs. Garlie
My name is LaVonne Garlie, and I am a first grade teacher here at Kalaheo Elementary School. I received my Elementary Education Teaching Certification as well as my Masters in Curriculum of Elementary Education from the University Of Hawaii at Manoa. Both my husband and I were born in Idaho. In 1989 we moved to the beautiful island of Kauai with our two daughters, Alisha, and Erin. They attended Wilcox Elementary and graduated from Kauai High School. Erin is currently teaching second grade here at Kalaheo Elementary and Alisha is pursuing her design career in Maryland. I love teaching and feel very blessed to be part of Kalaheo School's ohana. Some of my favorite hobbies are playing tennis, reading, and most of all, spending time with family and friends.
