Garden Day 2009
Our first grade students got to experience a fun-filled day dedicated to gardening and nature with the help of more than 30 parent, teacher and community volunteers.  The students looked at microscopic garden samples, made rain gauges, painted garden rocks, and made uv bracelets.  They investigated how sunscreen works, they transplanted plants, and they competed in the 2009 flower pot relay race.  They finished off the day eating delicious ice cream cones.  "This is the best day ever!", was the student mantra of the day.  Check out the fantastic pictures!
